Her Honor Sie-A-Nyene G. Yuoh

She was born in Montserrado County, Liberia. She has five (5) children, and two (2) grandchildren. Justice Sie-A-Nyene Gyapay Yuoh obtained a LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia in 1981, a BA degree in Political Science from the Cuttington University College, Suacoco, Bong County in 1978 and a High School Diploma from the St. Teresa’s Convent in 1974. Prior to her ascendency as Associate Justice in May 2013, she served as Commissioner and Acting Executive Director of the Law Reform Commission from July 2011-April 2013, Corporate Secretary/Assistant Legal Counsel/Secretary, Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Liberia from 2000-2003, Associate and Legal Counsel of the David A.B. Jallah Law Firm from 1994-2000,  Coordinator, African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1988-1990 and Assistant Minister for Legal Affairs, Ministry of Justice from 1983-1985, among others. She served as President of the Maryland County Local Bar Association in 2013, Chairperson of the Judiciary Committee of the Liberia National Bar Association in 2012-2013, she was one of the founding members of the Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia (AFELL) and served as 1st Vice President from 1997-1988. She also served as Vice President of the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) 1994-1998.
